Sarah Edgerton is a Midwestern mom of two and the wife of a military husband, so she's learned that life rarely sticks to the outline. When she's not writing stories filled with ancient magic and life-altering choices, she's juggling family life and wondering who ate the last snack.

She's also the full-time staff for two polar-opposite cats: one is independent, introverted, and would rather admire you from across the room, while the other believes every cabinet, shelf, and unattended object is an invitation to investigate. They're suspiciously similar to her two children.

When she's not chasing kids, serving cats, or dealing with life's plot twists, she's dreaming up her next adventure.
